There are two solstices each year occurring approximately June 22nd and December 22nd.  There is a magnification of light at solstices because it is a time of galactic alignments and greater influxes of solar energy.  This ceremony can be used at any of the solstices during the final five-year window between December 2007 and December 2012, the latter being widely perceived as the end of Time as we know it.  The world is poised on the absolute brink of major change, waiting with bated breath for the new story to emerge, a story that defies debate and logic, and can only be accessed through intuition, imagination and dreams.

Since the beginning of Time the Australian Aboriginal people have preserved the sacred tradition of the DREAMING until all peoples were ready to receive it.  They gathered around the campfires in the vast expanses of the Timeless Land under the crystal clear canopy of night and its myriads of twinkling stars sleeping in community and dreaming the stories that give focus and meaning to their lives ensuring the continuity of their deep spiritual connection with the Land and with All That Is.  It is not the dreamtime which mistakenly implies a time past but the Dreaming, which is beyond time, time out of mind, the realm of all possibilities where everything is known, problems are dissolved and answers may be found.

It is NOW time for lightworkers in the shamanic tradition to bring through the new story for the world, set the example and lead the way into the new era.  On the night before the solstice, groups that are so guided may gather for a Sleepover and Dreaming, waking on solstice morning to share the dreams and create the new story, reworking the symbols, retelling the mythology and reformulating the values.

Participants may first clarify their thought-intention for the overnight Dreaming e.g.

They may request a healing and strengthening of their astral body, a bringing to awareness of karmic blockages that need attention and information, understanding and insights for their future mission.

The following is the wording for the steps of the overnight Dreaming Meditation to be spoken by the facilitator once everyone is in bed for the night.  Allow time for each step.

We begin by clearing the aura with gold/white light, centring and settling (allow time).

We ask Archangel Michael to place a Dome of protection over each person and the Dreaming space.  We invoke our Higher Self and our own special guides.

We focus on our hearts and step into the Temple of Heart.  We request that our meditation be overlighted by the Higher Council of the Temple of the Heart.

We call forth the Flower of Life Merkabah field that we are each most familiar with.  (The Omni-merkabah, Omkabah or Aumkabah etc.) (Inhale).

We activate and synchronise all Flower of Life Merkabah fields. (Slow relaxed exhale.)

Alton, Thoth and the Dream Guides step forward at this stage to escort us to the Dream Chambers in the Temple of the Heart…………

…….we allow ourselves to drift into the vast timelessness of the Great Dreaming……

…….safely within the arms of Mother/Father God/Great Spirit…….

…….within the Embrace of the One Heart of the One Great Love……

The following five stages are suggested for the follow-up on solstice Morning.

As soon as the group wake in the morning it is essential for each person to record in words and pictures all the details of the dreams and snatches of dreams before they slip back into the other world and are lost from consciousness --- people, animals, places, things, colours, numbers, shapes, feelings etc.  Especially note any verbal information and advice.  Record everything that comes to mind even if the dreams are not remembered.  Display creative works that come forth…symbols, images, pictures, encoding, insights, etc.

Have a light, quiet breakfast.  Keep the chatter to an absolute minimum in order to maintain the focus and Hold the Dream.

The group regather and repeat the steps of the above meditation where each person goes back into their personal dreams to gain more insights.  Remember that dreams are essentially symbolic.  Anyone or anything in a dream may represent a part of oneself.  Consider the meanings of the symbols, colours, numbers, places etc.  If uncertain speak silently to the people, animals and even things in your dream.  Ask them why they have appeared in your dream.  Converse with them.  So-called nightmares probably provide the greatest opportunity for insight and healing.  Emotions need to be released rather than denied and interpersonal issues faced rather than avoided.  Death in dreams is usually a letting go of an old outdated part of the self and dismemberment symbolises radical reorganisation of one’s life and mental processes.  If you have an unresolved dream go back into it and see what happens as it completes.  (Allow ample time and play some dream music to assist.)

Then it is time to share the dreams in groups of about seven or eight.  Dreams are multi-layered and other people may offer additional insights.  Be compassionate with anyone still troubled with the dream as that person may be holding the group issue or wound that needs to be addressed before the group can move forward.  It is each participant’s responsibility to ensure that each person’s dreams receive sufficient consideration.  Archetypal, shamanic and totem dreams are very significant but may defy interpretation in the short term.  They unfold over time and may only fully reveal themselves in the months and even years to come.

Then all participants regroup to work on and display their creative works and bring the Dreaming into manifestation.  It may already be obvious that one person was gifted with the Group Dream or the creative display of the dreams may show the jigsaw pieces of the whole Dream.  Work creatively with ideas for bringing forth the Dream, allowing it to emerge into Time with stories, pictures, poems, songs, dances, drama, etc
