The Holy Grail has been seen as synonymous with achieving one's lifelong dream, rainbow's end. Some believe that the Holy Grail is a cup or chalice. Others believe it is a stone and some think it is a woman, Mary Magdalene, ancestress of the Grail lineage. The Holy Grail is essentially a symbol representing the feminine principle within men and women. The search for the grail is the search for the wisdom within, for the true self, for the guidance from the inner realms. It is an ongoing journey.
The Sword of Divine Truth represents the masculine principle within women and men. The sword directs the action that flows from the inner realms into the outer world of existence. The Sword of Divine Truth represents discernment, courage and integrity. Those who seek the Holy Grail and the Sword of Divine Truth know that appearances are often illusory and that inner and outer are in harmony in all things.
Self-mastery is the awareness and practice of taking responsibility fo rall our thoughts, feelings, words, and actions. We are not only responsible for what we do but we are also responsible for what happens to us. This does not mean we judge ourselves but that we understand the Law of Reflection which in essence states that The World is a Mirror. The outer world reflects back to us the misaligned, disowned and lost aspects of ourselves or others that we are responsible for retrieving and/or healing. It means we deal with all issues that present themselves WITHOUT apportioning blame or holding grudges.
Seekers of self-mastery recognise that no matter what occurs, all life experiences are opportunities for personal learning and the greater the challenge the greater the opportunity for soul growth. It is not what happens to us but how we deal with it that counts. Energy needs t be released from all painful and emotive situations, karmic stories cleared and thoughts brought back into alignment. Then discernment needs to be applied to decide whether it is appropriate to speak one's truth.
